Frequently Asked Questions

Q1 - How do I access the spreadsheets?

Access to the download directory is provided via a confirmation email sent after purchase. You can return to the download directory later with the email link to download the files again, if needed.

Q2 – Can I purchase the spreadsheets without buying the book?

Yes. You can purchase the spreadsheets here for any volume, or buy the WWDD All Volumes Spreadsheet Bundle and get all of them.

Q3 – If I have a problem using one of the spreadsheets, is there any help available?

You can submit a question via the “Contact” link above, and we’ll provide an answer to you by email.

Q4 – What spreadsheet application do I need on my computer to use the tools?

The WWDD spreadsheets are available for use with Microsoft Excel and OpenOffice. OpenOffice is free, available for PCs and Mac's. Go to: www.openoffice.org to find out more and download. The spreadsheets have been tested for compatibility with these applications. Compatibility with other spreadsheet programs, such as Google Sheets or Apple Numbers, is not 100% in all cases and is not recommended.

Q5 – Can I receive spreadsheet updates when available?

Until a revised edition of the book is published, you may return to the download page and access updated spreadsheet versions as they become available. When new features or bug fixes are available, they’ll be published as a new “version” on the download page and a notification will be sent by email newsletter.

Q6 – Is there an automated way to transfer my personal spreadsheet data into an updated version?

Currently, no. You can copy and paste your data from one spreadsheet to a new version, but this is a manual process.

Q7 – A particular spreadsheet needs a feature to address my unique situation. Can I modify the spreadsheet on my own?

You can submit the request via the “Contact” link, and we’ll consider improving the tool for that issue. Otherwise, the spreadsheets are locked to prevent modifications that could affect the tool's performance.

Q8 – Some graphs in the book seem helpful in evaluating a money question. Are they also available for download?

Not currently, as they have not been cleaned up for general use. However, stay tuned, as some may be added to the download page in the future. Users will be notified of updates or additions when subscribing to the newsletter.
